Welcome to Sodwana Bay Kite School

We offer a 1, 2 or 3 day Kitesurfing course at 6 hours per day, all equipment included.

We are allowed to teach a maximum of 4 people at a time but we limit our instructors to 3, and preferably 2 at a time.

Each student will be using their own kite gear and will be allowed to progress at their own levels.

We recommend the 3 day lessons to get a good understanding of the sport.

Most people take on average between 1 and 3 days of lessons to get to a stage where by they can go out alone and practice what they have learnt.

This all depends though, every person is different and learns at their own pace.

Lessons are done on the beach in Sodwana Bay. Lessons are done 7 days a week, wind and weather dependant.

The other option for those with limited time is to take a 2 hour Kitesurfing lesson. We call it a taster lessons, as it is too short a time to learn that much.

All of our Instructors are fully IKO (International Kitesurfing Organisation) qualified.

For a brand new 2009 kiting package, which consists of a 9m Best Waroo kite, complete with bar/lines and leash, a Dakine Storm seat harness, and a Best Spark kiteboard, it will cost R18,099.
