Because Toad Tree Cabins is an owner run and managed operation, we really do take an active and very personal interest in your enjoyment. Janice and team invite you to experience the magic of Sodwana Bay in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This is Zululand at its very best, un-spoilt and protected for future generations!
Scuba Diving
Sodwana Bay offers divers an eco-diving experience never to be forgotten and we consider ourselves privileged to be able to share this underwater paradise with the many sea creatures that have made Sodwana Bay their home. Our spectacular reefs offer you an un-spoilt underwater paradise on earth, and we ensure that all our divers are eco-aware before diving with us in Sodwana Bay. We invite you to join us as we explore the many caves and overhangs in this underwater paradise.
Snorkeling
Experience the thrill of swimming with a dolphin or a whale shark, and many snorkelers have been delighted with the abundance of tropical fish living on our reefs. Snorkeling off the beach is very accessible, and there are many sea creatures to be found, at no charge!
Be inspired by both land and ocean to love our Pale Blue Dot.
Bordered by golden beaches and the world’s highest naturally vegetated dunes which shelter the lush interior, the Sodwana area is surrounded by fertile swamps and sand forests with rare bird species, protected animal and plant life, as well as wide lakes and extensive river estuaries.
And that's not all
If the rest of the family are not crazy deep blue divers, we are also able to arrange quad biking, microliting, deep sea and surf fishing, elephant back rides, visits to the reptile farm, horse back trails, canoeing and trips to the many Big 5 game reserves.
We’re easy to find and a perfect base for exploration.
Sea Escapes is easily accessible, just off the main Mbazwana/Sodwana road and we’re also perfectly situated for guests who want to base themselves in the heart of this pristine World Heritage Site in order to explore the region. 4x4 vehicles are still allowed on the beach at Sodwana Bay and you would best be able to self-explore Zululand if you visit in a suitable vehicle.
